Every month, our Hot 100 List changes based on your votes. See the ‘Favorites’ list on the Booky app? Every restaurant you add to that list counts as a vote. But we only get to feature the top 10 for every municipality every month, leaving out all the other awesome restaurants on the Hot 100. This is where this list gets in handy.
The following are first timers on the Hot 100 for the month of September. Check it out, some of them have already made it to the top 10 lists even.
#96 Sonya’s Garden – Tagaytay
Sonya Garcia’s Garden is a tucked away bed and breakfast, a wellness spa, a country store, a panaderia, a cottage restaurant and a well-kept secret garden. It is one of the top choice destinations for a romantic getaway during weekends for Manilenos.
#95 Miguel & Maria – Marikina
Miguel & Maria is a local neighborhood restaurant and bar that offers affordable feel good food and a cozy place to have drinks to the residents and visitors of Marikina. #87 Memory Lane – Tagaytay
Memory Lane is a family destination, a country-home inspired restaurant, a specialty gift shop filled with memorabilias from the 50’s and 60’s and a beauty salon owned by actress Jolina Magdangal and her family. It’s even made our list of 21 restaurants with beautiful interior designs.
#84 Mr. Graham’s Sandwich Shop – Tomas Morato
If you are a regular at Mrs. Graham’s Cafe, then you’ll be seeing a new shop beside it. It’s Mrs. Graham’s Mister, Mr. Grahams Sandwich Shop. #83 Foodever21 – Makati
Foodever21 is a small streetside burger eatery known only to its nearby Makati population. It serves affordable, 100% homemade beef patty burgers overloaded with toppings and sauces, pastas, rice meals, sizzling plates and sandwiches. While no one seems to be able to find forever these days, Foodever21 guarantees forever with their food, located on 21st Ave., East Rembo; hence their name.
#82 Artsy Cafe – Maginhawa
Artsy Cafe, as its name suggests, is a colorful art-filled farm-to-table concept cafe. The owner John Penaflor discloses that he sources ingredients from their family’s small farm in Dagupan, Pangasinan to ensure the freshest vegetables and herbs. Every corner of the place is an instant photo background, which is why it has become such a popular choice of venue for private events, surprise parties, baby showers and even pre-nup shoots.
#79 Kazoku Japanese Restaurant – Maginhawa

#77 Victorino’s Restaurant – Tomas Morato
Victorino’s is a fine dining restaurant with old fashioned Filipino home interiors. They serve Ilocano-Filipino cuisine and desserts from partner Chef Heny Sison. #75 Tipsy Pig – Burgos Circle
Tipsy Pig is a man pub most popular for its signature brews, extensive beverage list and good food. It’s from the same group that brought us Reserve, URBN, and Relik. It’s a popular place for the after work crowd and weekend pub crawlers. The Capitol Common branch has been consistenly on our top 10 most loved restaurants in Pasig list.
#74 Beyond Coffee – Sampaloc
Beyond Coffee is a tiny neighborhood cafe that serves whimsical coffee in sexy jars and affordable comfort food. It is somewhat hidden but gets filled up quickly during lunch and dinner hours by students and office goers in the area. #72 Ryu Ramen Curry – UP Town Center
Ryu specializes in tantanmen ramen, curry dishes and other Japanese comfort food. Unlike other ramen houses, Ryu has 5 varieties of the spicy tantanmen, which can actually be adjusted so kids can enjoy them too. Here’s a fun fact: 4 of the owners were born under the dragon sign (the 5th is singer-songwriter, Ogie Alcasid), which is why the restaurant is named Ryu because it means dragon in Japanese.
#71 Maisen – Greenbelt 5
Maisen, which means ‘go for it’, is one of Japan’s finest tonkotsu restaurants. It offers various tonkotsu sets, including its bestselling Kurobuta Tenderloin Katsu, served with their signature sweet and spicy Kurobuta sauce. It is an international franchise by Suyen Corporation (Bench group).
#59 Costa Coffee – Robinsons Place Manila
Costa Coffee is UK’s #1 coffeehouse chain and 2nd to Starbucks amongst the world. The Costa menu is all about ‘great coffee, delicious food and a dazzling array of hot and cold drinks.’ Note that as of now, they don’t serve non-fat milk. This is its 2nd branch in the metro.
#65 Buffalo Wild Wings – Glorietta 1
Buffalo Wild Wings (or B-Dubs), from Columbus, Ohio, is a sports bar and restaurant most popularly known for three things: wings, sports and beer. They serve 18 flavors of chicken wings, as well as flatbreads, burgers and craft beers. This is its 2nd branch in the metro.
#58 Nihonbashi Tei – Tomas Morato
Nihonbashi Tei is a humble izakaya offering an extensive list of authentic Japanese specialties at fairly affordable prices. Their menu includes sushi, ramen, yakitori, curries, donburi, chirashi and many more. Check out other noteworthy and amazing sushi places here.
#53 Paper Moon Cafe – Trinoma
Paper Moon Cafe offers the heavenly Mille Crepe Cakes of Emy Wada, Tokyo’s Grand Dame of Specialty Cakes and founder of Lady M in New York City. These handmade paper-thin 20-layered crepe cakes are available in mini, medium and large sizes. It is a partnership between Emy and Mille Crepe Cake fan, Vic del Rosario of Viva Entertainment. This is its 2nd branch in the metro.
#52 Cafe SeolHwa Bingsu – Alabang
Cafe Seolhwa is a Korean dessert cafe serving snowflake ‘bingsu’ or shave iced dessert topped with chopped fruits, condensed milk, fruit syrup and beans. This is its 2nd branch in the metro.
#48 Antonio’s Garden – Tagaytay
Antonio’s Garden is Tagaytay’s most celebrated fine-dining restaurant and food destination that features the best of international cuisine from top chef Tony Boy Escalante. Its impeccable food, elegant interiors, scenic gardens and great service are what make them exemplary. Remember to book in advanced, they don’t accept walk-ins.
