Alice Tea Salon – Ortigas
From the name itself, Alice Tea Salon is an Alice in Wonderland-inspired cafe that recently opened in Ortigas, just a few weeks ago.
Paula and her siblings, together with a partner from Taiwan, wanted to play with the ‘wonderland’ concept. According to her, what’s amusing about Alice in Wonderland is that you can basically do anything with it.

You can opt for the sweet and girly look, a weird and dark adaptation, a psychedelic twist, or just focus on one of the characters and go from there.
As for Alice Tea Salon, they went with a mix of different subtle elements from the story. Quotes from the novel such as, “Drink Me” and “We’re All Mad Here,” can be seen on the walls, the red doors designed like playing cards represent the Red Queen, the baby blue and white colors of the interiors alluding Alice’s signature colors, and so on.
Fun fact: They had all of their furniture customized, to suit the theme of the cafe.
Alice Tea Salon specializes in authentic and fusion tea products. They’re not your ordinary milk tea place, they take pride in their authentic tea leaves sourced all the way from Taiwan. They have an espresso machine that was specially made to brew tea.
Insider tip: If you want an authentic tea experience, try their hot tea first because its taste subsides when it's cold.
