Peri Peri Charcoal Chicken – Capitol Commons
Peri Peri Charcoal Chicken serves Portugese style chicken grilled with their signature African-Portugese spice mix brought all the way from Africa. ‘Peri Peri’ refers to African bird’s eye chilis, which is a key ingredient in making their customized sauces. It is a concept from iFoods Group which also owns WAFU, Kogi Bulgogi, Spätzle and more.
Asakusa: Home of Tempura – The Grove by Rockwell
Asakusa serves Japanese cuisine featuring a wide variety of tempura dishes (shrimp, fish, squid, scallop and vegetables), which is their specialty, and non-tempura dishes including salads, udon, soba, makis and more. This is a dream project come true of husband and wife, Chef Jacob and fashion designer Celline Bautista with friend Rolf Madrid.
The Grub – Pearl Plaza
The Grub is a burger takeaway joint serving house-ground, 100% pure beef, freshly-grilled burgers placed between soft oatmeal buns. It offers 8 choices of burgers that are affordable at only less than P150 each.

The Wholesome Table – Estancia Mall
The Wholesome Table is an organic restaurant serving healthy and guiltless comfort food and smoothies. All produce is sourced locally where possible, meat is pasture-raised and ingredients are not processed or refined. It is owned by supermom and health advocate, Bianca Araneta-Elizalde. This is its 3rd branch in the metro.
Happy Hour Manila – City Golf Plaza
Happy Hour is a cocktail bar and lounge where ‘every hour is happy hour’. By definition, happy hour is a ‘period of the day when drinks are sold at reduced prices in a bar or restaurant’, so enjoy happy hour promos and bar chows all night long from 6:00pm to 2:00am from Monday to Saturday.
Wishbone – Kapitolyo
Wishbone is a wings joint by the poeple behind Pomodoro Pizza serving what they call new American cuisine, a fusion between American and Asian/South American flavors. Unique wing flavors include: salted egg, Thai curry and Sirachamansi.
Moonshine P.U.B. – Ortigas Center
Moonshine is a casual and relaxed bar serving signature cocktails and comfort food from the same creative culinary team behind Tipsy Pig Gastropub. It is best known as a choice venue for the after-office crowd in Makati where its first branch is located.
Chevy Burger – Manggahan
Chevy Burger is a quick fix American burger joint serving affordably good burgers, hotdogs, pastas, nachos, etc. since 1988. It is a burger place that hails from Marikina, expanded to Antipolo and now to Pasig. P.S. It is located at a Fil-Oil gas station.
Taco Vengo – United St.
Taco Vengo is the newest taco kid on the block serving Mexican favorites like tacos, burritos, and nachos. It is located opposite Ace Water Spa along United Street in Kapitolyo.
PB Co. – Estancia Mall
PB Co. or Peanut Butter Company is a sandwich shop dedicated to peanut butter. Their unique peanut butter variants are not only used as sandwich spreads but infused into their pasta dishes and other meals. P.S. You can take home their PB spreads.
Spice & Cleaver – Estancia Mall
Spice & Cleaver is the house of handcrafted sausages and the newest addition to Estancia Mall’s pool of restaurants. Other kitchen specialties include puffpizzas, steaks and dessert choices by Chef Quito Jose of Brother’s Burger and Ninak. Actress Angelu de Leon is a part owner.
Splice Resto Bar – Greenfield District
Splice serves fusion of classic Filipino and modern European cuisine. Highlights include the Angus Beef Tapa Poutine and variety of D’ohnut (doughnut) Burger.
El Hijo de Cabra – Greenfield District
El Hijo de Cabra is the black sheep son of El Chupacabra, one of the most popular Mexican street food joint in Poblacion, Makati. Apart from their best selling street tacos, cheap beers and other favorites, El Hijo de Cabra serves Pollo Asado Peruano roast chicken.
Big Pockets – Greenwood Executive Village
Big Pockets is the home of gourmet pita pockets and yogurt shakes. It serves healthier, filling and easy to eat and calorie-counted pita shawarmas. Orders are for pickup or delivery.
