With several branches already spread across Tagaytay, Bag of Beans has definitely and successfully made its mark at one of the most go-to travel destinations in the Philippines. So what’s next for Bag of Beans, you ask? A Manila branch, perhaps? Maybe not for now.

But lo and behold our latest discovery that left us with smiles and gladness–Bag of Beans’ secret spin-off sister, Charito by Bag of Beans, which opened just last March.

Named after its owner, Charito Antiquera, Charito is an upscale version of its predecessors. But like its predecessors, the feel of the place is always homey, elegant, and picturesque in every corner. It doesn’t hurt as well that this spin-off branch has a killer view of the famous Taal Lake.

We’re taking you on a virtual tour with photos from fellow foodies on Instagram! Check it out.

The whole place is spacious with dining areas in and out of the house, as well as on the balcony.

We are happy to report that they kept the original menu remains in tact as guests would most likely be looking for their favorites like the Roast Beef, Baby Back Ribs, Aligue and Shrimps Penne, Carbonara and of course, their Apple Pie Ala Mode and Blueberry Cheesecake.

Despite the anticipated weekend crowd, it’s best to visit during Friday and Saturday nights to enjoy soothing live piano music while having dinner with your friends, family or special someone.
