Crave Park – Marikina

It’s been a good season for food parks recently; each city trying to come out with its own concept and set of specialty stores. This time, we move away from the busy Manila to cover an artsy food park in Marikina!

CRAVE PARK is a passion project that brings together foodies and art enthusiasts in one place.

Fun fact: Craveman is the bearded rennaissance man in the Crave Park logo. He represents the vibe of the park and their consumers who they call the 'cravers', for they know the value of quality food and how to have a good time.

Contemporary art by some of the best local street artists like Eggfiasco, Kookoo, and Distort are showcased around the park. Stay tuned for upcoming art events in the park grounds!

Art is nice but really it’s the food we’re after here; discover Taiwanese street food, a cute Japanese bento kiosk, Thailand-inspired fried ice cream rolls, and more!

Here’s a rundown of all 18 food stalls you should be excited about.

Archipelago Express

The Archipelago Express is a spin-off of the Barrio Fiesta brand, to fit perfectly in the food park scene by bringing in their tried and tested bestsellers in small servings. Some of their must-order dishes that never fail include the Crispy Pata, Budbod Tapa, and Ilocano Rice.

Creamco Creamery

Inspired by how the Thais do it in the streets, Creamco Creamery serves fried ice cream rolls with chopped and crushed fruits, biscuits, and other delectable toppings. Try the Purple Haze, a dragon fruit-flavored ice cream creation.

Dabs & Popcorn

Dabs & Popcorn specializes in creating gourmet dishes using one of our local produce, the sweet corn. They also serve nibblers that incorporates corn in the most creative way possible.

Flat Bread

Flat Bread specializes in the rolled out, deep fried, and leavened dough that gets even better with toppings like chicken and pesto, bacon and mushroom, spicy sardines, and even s’mores! They also serve two kinds of pasta in a bowl.

Hunger Buster

Owned by four Ateneans and started selling in Ateneo, Hunger Buster serves gourmet burgers and and sandwiches at very affordable prices. Choose if you’d rather have the Starving Burger, Dying Burger, or the Burning Burger.

KM 128 Wing Joint

KM 128 will cure your chicken cravings with their hot and tasty wings fix that comes in various flavors such as Hickory Smoked BBQ, Garlic Parmesan, and Classic Buffalo. They also have buffalo mojos!

Kawaii Kitchen

Kawaii Kitchen serves authentic Japanese curry dishes in the most ‘Kawaii’ way possible – in cute bento sets! As of now, they have four curry dishes to choose from such as the Katsu Curry, Chicken Karaage Curry, Cheese Hamburg Curry, and Wagyu Beef Curry, and will be coming out soon with new flavors!

Kwatro Cubanos

From the same owners of Fil-Cuban Cantina in City Golf Plaza, Kwatro Cubanos is owned by four friends who all share the same love for sandwiches and everything cheese. This is the first Filipino-Cuban-American concept that serves some of the best cuban and cheesesteak sandwiches in the metro!

Lil Taipei

Lil Taipei takes on the Taiwanese street food concept by bringing in some of Taiwan’s traditional eats such as the beef cubes, stinky tofu, fried whole squid, and chicken chops.

Nitro7 Coffee and Tea Bar

Nitro7 Coffee and Tea Bar takes on a new technology where they serve liquid-nitrogen infused cold-brew coffee and tea beverages. Using their nitrogen tap, they are able to achieve a creamy consistency without the milk and sweet distinct taste without the sugar. Must-tries include the Chocolate Macadamia Coffee, Hazelnut Caramel Mocha, and Black Nitro.

Pub Express

Pub Express is known for their very affordable, fall-off-the-bones baby back ribs that is served to their customers in only 5 minutes, a signature waiting time only they can deliver. Their mission is to serve great food in the fastest time possible.

Pulled Meat Bar

Pulled Meat Bar specializes in pulled meat sandwiches that comes in three choices – chicken, pork, or beef. They also have signature pulled meat pulutan that can either come with corn, mushroom, or cheese.

Quench

Quench is a vibrant beverage concept that serves non-alcoholic drinks such as lemonades and other fruit juices served in big tubs, over-the-top dessert milkshakes, Italian sodas, floats, and more.

Spin the Bottle Bar

Spin the Bottle Bar takes on the 90’s era concept with a millenial twist as they parter with Edsa Beverage Design Group to serve craft beer drinks and unique concoction of cocktails. Do you still remember those cute little umbrella designs on your drinks?

The Hungry Burro

The Hungry Burro is a Mexican taqueria that serves authentic tex-mex favorites such as burritos, nachos, quesadillas, chimichanga, and more.

Tokyo Tempura

Also seen in food courts and other food parks, Tokyo Tempura is the first ever Tempura cart that offers very affordable tempura snacks. They’re known for their Unlimited Tempura offer that costs only Php 199/head! They also serve tempura hotdogs, squid tempura, chili cheese tempura, and more.

Torii Donburi

Torii Donburi aims to serve Japanese donburi bowls with a modern twist. They also have matcha lava cake and matcha cookies for dessert!

Uncle Moe’s Shawarma Hub

First seen in Kapitolyo, Uncle Moe’s now has its own kiosk and is serving some of their bestselling Persian food such as the beef and chicken kebab and kofta balls, with their signature white sauce. They’ve been serving their beloved customers since 2006.
