It may not seem like it at first glance, but step inside and immerse yourself with the traditional Italian music playing in the background, and you’ll know you’re in for a good surprise.
The owner Alfredo Diaz Jr. loves being in the kitchen so much that he decided to open up an extension of his humble home to create his own little restaurant. He tries to keep it as authentic as possible, serving dishes like pizza, pasta, and sandwiches. According to him, he doesn’t want to cheat people and he just wants to serve good food made from authentic and quality ingredients.
The simple and eclectic interior design concept of the place was all because of him. He was inspired by the movies that he saw and had decided to use galvanized sheets of metal as the restaurant’s walls.
Vintage ads of Coca-Cola and other products, a pasta-inspired map of Italy, and other interesting artifacts can be seen hanging on the walls. Most of these were brought back all the way from Italy!
There’s even a wall filled with old soft drink bottles of various brands.
