To really to turn up the heat, here are some more insider tips.

Hotpot Hot Tips

  1. Put the ingredients that take longer to cook first like meat, corn, radish, etc.
  2. Take advantage of the boiling broth to do the ff.: cook your meat well and disinfect your chopsticks.
  3. Put your vegetables last especially in spicy hotpot – the spicy oil will stick to the vegetables.
  4. Avoid the dumplings and the noodles if you don’t want to get full easily. Although, note, the noodles soak the broth well.
  5. Drink dairy before and after to calm your stomach because hotpot can be acidic.
