The Dessert Kitchen

The Dessert Kitchen made a name for itself in Hong Kong with its innovative iced desserts and eggettes, including its award-winning Purple In Love. The grape-flavored shaved ice dessert is made with Kyoho grape seaweed balls, mini rice balls, grapes, and taro mochi ice cream. Read the full feature here.

Peperoni Pizzeria

Peperoni Pizzeria from Singapore is the home of the 21″ XXL pizzas. It is an all-day diner serving traditional Italian comfort food. Since 2004, Singapore (and now, Manila) has loved their signature pizzas created with homemade dough and secret sauces. Pizzas come in medium (9″), large (12″) and family (21″) sizes. Kumori

Kumori is a vibrant bakery made famous in Nagoya, Japan for its authentic Japanese breads and pastries. This is their 5th branch in the PH, and they’re showing no signs of slowing down. Watch out for more branches to open soon! Fun Fact: “Kumori” literally translates to “cloudy”.

Pezzo Pizza is a carnival-themed pizza joint from Singapore and the first pizza place in Manila that lets you customize your box of pizza by the slice! Paper Moon Cafe

Paper Moon Cafe is a dessert cafe serving heavenly mille crepe cakes by Emy Wada, Tokyo’s Grand Dame of Specialty Cakes and founder of Lady M in New York City. The handmade paper-thin 20-layered creations are available in mini, medium and large sizes. Genki Sushi

Genki Sushi from Japan is the pioneer of Kaiten Sushi a.k.a. sushi served on a conveyor belt–or in this case, speed trains. They established their first branch in the PH with their BGC location just September last year, but have now finally expanded to QC. Their menu highlights a variety of fresh and high quality sushi, ramen, tempura and more. Guests here can enjoy ordering from a tablet. P.S. There’s unlimited house tea from the tap.
