In Metro Manila, it’s quite rare to find an authentic Vietnamese restaurant that serves a lovely bowl of Phở and a cup of Vietnamese coffee. Luckily, there’s a piece of Hanoi in Makati through this hidden corner restaurant.

Opened last November 2016, Hanoi Corner serves authentic Northern Vietnamese dishes from Hanoi. Since majority of the Vietnamese restaurants in the Metro are inspired from the flavors of Southern Vietnam, what sets them apart is their homegrown and authentic Hanoi flavors with meals that’s of same quality as Vietnam’s.
Fun fact: Owners Anna and her husband, both from Hanoi, own Hanoi Corner in Hanoi since 2000. They have a similar menu with the branch in the Philippines.
When you enter the restaurant, you’ll be greeted with simple and small tables and chairs, which will immediately transport you to the restaurants and streets of Hanoi.
