DTF = Down To Fiesta

If you’re not familiar with it, Cinco de Mayo is a holiday that celebrates the date of the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War. In the U.S., it’s a time to celebrate Mexican culture and an opportunity to eat lots of tacos and drink margaritas!

Alegria – Bonifacio Global City

Alegria offers Latin flavors with a modern twist on dishes like elote, paella, aglio olio, fajita, as well as different flavored sangrias. For Cinco de Mayo they’ve got a Sunset Session where you can enjoy tortillas and Estrella Galicia Draft Beer for ₱120, as well as 50% off on all bottles of Cazadores Tequila!

The Bowery – Burgos Circle

The Bowery is an American bistro pub serving upscale comfort food. It’s by the same group behind Borough, so you know the NYC-inspired menu is on point. Their Cinco de Mayo festivities include a buy one take one on Olmeca Tequila shots and just ₱1500 for Olmeca Tequila bottles.

Insider Tip: Try their Margariri (₱300) – it’s a fresh citrus margarita infused with apple vinegar and a red wine floater.

Vengo – Legazpi Village

The modern taqueria concept serves tacos, burritos and rice bowls. At night, the quiet neighborhood cafe transforms into an after-work watering hole serving some of the coolest cocktails in the Metro.

The Belle & Dragon – Legazpi Village
