#100 Pappare – The Food Hive, QC

Pappare is a Manhattan x Little Italy x Chinatown inspired joint that specializes in old-fashioned handmade noodles and pastas served in a cone and cheese! It recently held a grand teaser pop-up at The Red Light test kitchen in Poblacion. Watch out for their opening in November.

#89 Kumori Cafe – U.P. Town Center

A franchise from Japan, Kumori (translated to ‘cloudy’) is a quaint bakery and cafe that promises fresh and authentic Japanese bread and pastries. Customers are invited to ‘Bite Into Clouds’ with their sweets such as the Apple Buns, Hanjuku Cheese and of course, cheese tarts! We heard that they are offering their matcha cheese tarts for a limited time only. More Japanese desserts to try here.

Flatiron by Cafe 1771 takes pride in their comfort food dishes that are slow cooked on iron skillets. Best-sellers include the Flatiron Brisket 6, Miso-Glazed Salmon, and Intense Brownie Sugar a.k.a. the Brownie Burger.

#82 Bucky’s – Poblacion

Bucky’s is a new dessert cafe from BF Homes very popular for their buckies. No, ‘bucky’s not a brownie’ despite the striking resemblance, but actually a crossover between a flourless chocolate cake and a fudge brownie. Aside from the BF Homes branch, Manila customers have been getting their buckies fix only at Toby’s Estate branches and other stores. Now it has finally found a home in the hip Poblacion neighborhood with new menu items to boot.

Providore is the latest concept by the Raintree Restaurants Group, which also brought us well-loved restaurants like Stella, Rocket Room, Saboten, and more.
