Eat AND spread the happiness. Proceeds go to Kythe Foundation.

Together with IHOP locations throughout the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Guam and Mexico, six of IHOP’s branches in the Philippines are joining forces to celebrate National Pancake Day in the best way possible.

IHOP partners with Kythe Foundation for National Pancake Day

IHOP is an iconic American restaurant known for its delicious breakfast meals, and on March 8 from 7AM-10PM, they’re giving us all a huge treat by serving up unlimited buttermilk pancakes for just P250, with your choice of any of their signature syrups overloaded on top.

The promotion is done in partnership with Kythe Foundation: a non-profit organization that aims to improve the living conditions of children with chronic illnesses through psychosocial care, in the same form that IHOP strives to do through their food as well: Spread happiness. Proceeds from National Pancake Day will all go directly to this beneficiary.

National Pancake Day was launched in the United States back in 2005, and has since raised over 20 Million US Dollars for children’s health charities in local communities. Its pilot year in the Philippines was just in 2015, but it has already gained the generous support of kind, food-loving individuals throughout the Metro.

IHOP’s first Unlimited Pancake promo in support of the same beneficiary generated over P400,000 worth of proceeds, and this year, they aim to severely beat their record by going for a whopping P600,000 target. With the support of many pancake-loving tummies (that’s us, and you as well!), we can expect to see tons of happy smiles on these children’s faces.

What better way to spend National Pancake Day than by filling your tummy up with the fluffiest, tastiest pancakes (and participating in a great cause while you’re at it)?

Don’t forget to share photos of your Pancake adventures with us by tagging us on Instagram @bookyapp and through the hashtag #bookymanila!
