Tsuta Ramen

Tsuta 蔦 is the first ever ramen joint located in northern Tokyo (Sugamo) to get a Michelin star just last December 2015. It’s a small 9-seater restaurant that’s most known for its trademark ramen, the black truffle infused Shoyu Soba. Location is yet to be announced. READ MORE

Fatburger – Glorietta / Circuit Makati (NOW OPEN)

Fatburger is an all-American fastfood joint that’s all about lean Angus beef burgers, hand-scooped ice cream milkshakes, handmade onion rings and fries, and their build-your-own burger experience. Fatburger’s signature burgers come in five sizes from small to XXXL, called the Triple King XXXL Burger. READ MORE

Bake – S Maison Conrad Manila

Bake Cheese Tart from Sapporo, Hokkaido are made from three kinds of cheese: two from Hokkaido, one from France. Each batch of tarts are double baked for that flaky texture–first the crust, then second with the cheese mousse. Watch out Pablo! READ MORE

ShakeAway – UP Town Center (NOW OPEN)

Shakeaway, a.k.a. the “World’s Largest Milkshake Bar Company,” was established in Bournemouth, England in 1999.  They’re known as the original re-inventor of milkshakes, offering over 180 different flavors using fresh ingredients.

Hello Kitty Cafe – Uptown Place BGC

Taking Japan, USA, Turkey, and more by storm, Hello Kitty Cafe is a Sanrio-themed cafe that serves cute character-inspired meals and desserts guaranteed to make any Hello Kitty fan swoon. After successful pop-ups at Duty Free Philippines, Mall of Asia and now in SM North EDSA, they’re ready to open its flagship store at Uptown Place Mall, hopefully in December. Epilogue – S Maison Conrad Manila

Epilogue is Jakarta’s first and only French-Indonesian restaurant whose menu features a mix of French, Indonesian and Italian dishes. It is headed by a Le Cordon Bleu chef, Sandra Djohan. Tsukada Nojo – S Maison Conrad Manila (NOW OPEN)

Tsukada Nojo Collage Hotpot is a healthy shabu-shabu dining experience from Singapore popular for its chicken collagen thick soup called Bijin Nabe 美人锅. For only $25++, your personal set comes with standard portion of chicken, noodles and an assortment of vegetables plus one refill of soup!

Kushikatsu Daruma – Uptown Mall BGC

Kushikatsu Daruma is a dining destination in Osaka, Japan that offers deep fried katsu on sticks–tonkatsu, squid tentacles, cheese and even tomatoes. You can order per stick or choose from their menu sets. There’s only one rule here: No double dipping! Thanks to the Tasteless Group (same group behind Bad Bird, Hole in the Wall, Freezerburn, Fowlbread, Wrong Ramen, etc.), Manila will be able to experience this kushikatsu craze in Japan.

A Los Angeles-based pizza parlor franchise, Pizza Studio lets you create your own masterpiece by choosing from their different kinds of crusts, sauces, cheese, toppings and oils & spices. Roll’d – Uptown Mall BGC

Roll’d is an Austalian franchise that offers a unique fresh Vietnamese street food-inspired taste with a modern twist. Expect a variety of tasty and healthy cuon or rice paper rolls, pho bowls, banh mi sandwiches and more.

TOMS Cafe – UP Town Center

TOMS Cafe is a cozy coffee shop that offers beverages that give back. For every purchase of a TOMS Roasting Co. product, the company provides safe water for a person–the same principle behind their footwear line. Their beans are sourced from regions known especially for great quality coffee.

Kam’s Roast Goose

Kam’s Roast Goose (or KRG) is a casual dining restaurant in Hong Kong known for its signature roast goose and other meats. Since its first branch in Wan Chai, the restaurant has consistently been part of “Best Restaurants in HK” lists, and even bagged a Michelin Star in both 2015 and 2016. READ MORE
