How’d you like your kaldereta?

Kaldereta is one of our favorite Filipino dishes alongside our beloved adobo, kare-kare, and more. It’s a tomato-based meat stew where you can use chicken, pork, beef, or even goat, cooked with vegetables and liver paste. It tastes even better when it has that kick of spiciness to it!

While we love our kaldereta homecooked, some restaurants just went a little further through fusing it with other cuisines and experimenting with unthinkable ingredients, to reinvent and modernize Kaldereta as we know it.

Kimchi Kaldereta – Lola Cafe
