Kapitolyo is a foodie’s haven for unique finds. Discovering new and hidden restaurants is one of our favorite activities, but perusing the dessert menu is definitely a much awaited highlight to any meal. After all, no good meal is ever complete without satisfying your sweet tooth cravings!

We’ve already done the desserts edition before in places like Glorietta and the South, but now we venture into Kapitolyo. From waffle pops and avocado cupcakes to crepes and carabao ice cream, here are some the must-try sweet spots in this little Pasig neighborhood.

UCC Clockwork

UCC Clockwork is a third wave cafe concept by UCC that puts the spotlight on in-house roasting machines and local and international single origin coffee. They also offer sumptuous desserts like their Mango Samurai, a bruleed mango crepe drenched in creamy custard, and fluffy Japanese Pancakes.

Love Monday Cafe serves breakfast, brunch, and breakfast for dinner, as well as unique sweet treats like their colorful coffee drinks and waffle pops, which are made from scratch and showered with confections. Little Bear Diner

Little Bear is a globally inspired new wave diner that serves indulgent comfort food made from scratch and other organic ingredients. Their offerings are all well-balanced, having a mix of contrasting elements that are somehow harmonious when put together. Lia’s Cakes in Season

Lia’s, home of the avocado cake, is a quaint cake shop that is best known for their avocado pastries like avocado cupcakes, avocado sans rival, avocado cheesecake, and seasonal sweets such as their Puto Bumbong Cake. Most of their cake items are fruit-based, and are preservative-free.

Mad Mark’s Creamery was once a hole-in-the-wall restaurant in Kapitolyo that now has 4 other branches all over the metro!
