Kehl’s is a Swiss-Italian restaurant offering affordable European dishes such as sausages, pastas, pizza, and a wide variety of cheeses. A standout in the Aguirre food scene, this restaurant is here to prove that you don’t have to leave the South for quality European food.
Insider tip: Find the cow! Spätzle, Kehl's mascot watches from outside the restaurant, greeting customers on their way in and guiding them as they leave.
Born from the owner’s desire to make delicious Swiss and Italian dishes easily accessible in the Metro, it offers a homey dining space inspired from the Swiss countryside, Kehl’s is perfect for families and friends to get together and enjoy great food.
Fun Fact: Kehl's is named after the maiden name of one of the owners. Being half-Swiss through her father, a butcher.
In addition to serving up great grub, Kehl’s is also a deli shop where you can buy many imported European goodies such as cheeses, wines, meats, sausages, pickles, and more!
Fun Fact: All their sausages are homemade with signature recipes by the family owners. The sausages are made in Davao and shipped fresh to the restaurant to assure quality meats every time.
Now to the good part – their food. Kehl’s offers a menu filled to the brim with Italian and Swiss flavors.
Cheese Fondue
Starting off with their signature best seller, Kehl’s cheese fondue is made with Swiss appenzeller, emmental, and gruyere cheese.
Insider tip: It already comes with bread for dipping, but honestly you can dip any of their other dishes, they'll even encourage you!
Sausage Platter
Surely the next thing you’ll be dipping in fondue. All their sausages are homemade with authentic recipes, for their platter they serve Veal Bratwurst, Hungarian Sausage, Frankfurter, and English Beef Banger.
Cheese Platter
Have some diversity with your cheeses. This platter consists of assorted cheeses (Gouda, Gruyère, Pesto Green, Cheddar, and Monterey Jack), air dried meat (Landjäger and Beer Sticks), and pickled vegetables.
Pizza
With a grand roster of choices, all made with fresh ingredients and baked on the spot. Their pizza flavors include Rustica Quattro Formaggi, Dell’ Ortolano, Con Salsiccie, and Quattro Stagioni (pictured below).
Crispy Pork Knuckle
Crispy cured pork knuckle with crunchy skin throughout and meat that falls off with the lightest touch, served with Sauerkraut and potatoes.
Steaks
Australian beef steaks from T-bone to Ribeye, all served with a side of mashed potatoes, rice, or spätzle (Swiss egg noodles).
Drinks
Refreshing as they are unique, some of their beverages include Four Seasons, Watermelon Cooler, Cucumber Lemonade, and Basil Lemonade. They also serve shakes, fresh juices, tea, and coffee.
