Tucked in Commercenter Alabang is Kessaku, a casual restaurant serving a full range of authentic, top-quality Japanese food. True to their name, the word “kessaku” (pronounced kessah-koo, accent on the ‘koo’) translates to “creating masterpieces“. Their no-frills menu includes everything from sushi boats to tempura, wagyu cubes, and more.

The homegrown concept is by sisters Yums and Chili Aggabao, whose love for Japanese cuisine inspired them to create this Southern gem.

The 85-seater restaurant has dim and intimate interiors, but its large glass window allows guests to enjoy a relaxing view of the outdoors during daytime. The second floor is perfect for business meetings and private functions for up to 15 pax.

Kessaku caters to nearly everyone, from families to office employees and even solo diners. Many of their regulars are Japanese, a tell-tale sign of just how authentic their food is.
