At the intersection of Scout Lazcano, Scout Magbanua, and Mother Ignacia is a yet-to-be-discovered food hub known as 2 Lazcano. The building houses a number of establishments including Kusina Juan RepubikaBento & Co, and Little Winehaus.

Insider tip: You can order from any of the eateries, then dine or drink at your preferred place!

The latter may be the newest addition to the building but it already has all the makings to become the neighborhood watering hole. It’s the perfect place to wine down!

Little Winehaus transports you to another city other than Manila. The space is cozy and intimate, reminiscent of the wine cellars in Europe but with a more modern twist.

Brick walls, repurposed barrels, and a medieval-inspired chandelier are juxtaposed with contemporary furniture and artwork. The cozy, indoor area can comfortably seat a maximum of 10 people. Luckily, the restaurant has an al fresco setting that can accommodate bigger groups.

Giving justice to its name, the wine menu is well-curated with a number of red and white varieties from various countries like Chile, Argentina, Australia, France, and South Africa. They also have a good selection of cheeses which you can pair with a glass (or bottle… no judgment here).

What sets the Little Winehaus apart from any other drinking place within a ten-kilometer radius is that it is probably the only place you can enjoy something as opulent as caviar pie for less than ₱300! It’s an absolute steal, considering how generously they heap on the roe.

Other specialties of the house are: Wagyu Cubes on a stick and thinly sliced ribbons of Jamon Serrano, which the owners source from a supplier in Spain. If these offerings seem too high-brow for you, fear not – they also serve Dulong and Callos. We think the latter is the perfect dish to order in December. Apart from the fact that it’s traditionally served around Christmas, the stew is hearty and delicious.

Fun fact: Callos usually contains chorizo, ham, garbanzos, and... tripe - the cow's edible stomach lining!

The Little Winehaus is not just for titas of Manila (although we suspect they’ll be flocking in droves), the restaurant’s ambiance and affordability makes it a perfect place for date night or after-work apéritifs. Whether you’re in the mood for merlot or craving for chardonnay, when you book a table at Little Winehaus through the Booky app you can get up to ₱300 off your final bill.
