It seems like a lot of us from Manila are still unfamiliar with Marikina despite it being a stone’s throw away. We did some digging as to where Marikina residents are really getting their stomachs filled. For Marikina and nearby city residents, these restaurants are all too familiar (and are probably keeping them for their own enjoyment).

Fino Deli – Marikina Heights

The first wine bar and delicatessen in Marikina City.” Fino Deli brings rustic Italian and Spanish flare in an inviting and relaxed atmosphere. They serve wide variety of imported wines, cheeses and cold cuts.

Mogu Tree Noodle House – Lilac St.

A Chinese and Singaporean noodle house that allows customers to create their own noodle bowls from the soup, to the noodles and a whole lot of toppings. Mogu also serves clay pot rice and dim sum. They’re opening a new branch in Antipolo soon.

A tucked-away garden cafe offering brunch meals, burgers and pastas. Greg & Sally also grows and sells herbs in their own garden. It is a relaxing and family-friendly place for a quick getaway that’s only a short drive from Manila. P.S. Greg & Sally is closed on Mondays.
