Moderno Food Park – Pampanga
Proudly the pioneer of food parks in this province, Moderno is an effort to become an alternative destination for their customers and tenants, to shift away from the ‘mall culture’ and try a different kind of food environment.
Owner, Nicole Aquino, named the food park Moderno because she wanted to inject something new and modern to Pampanga.
Fun fact: The location of Moderno food park used to be a badminton court!
It is also geared towards building a collaborative environment that brings together local entrepreneurs, food enthusiasts, and craft seekers through good food and creative spaces.
This space was made for Kapampangan locals and tourists who are in search of a good place to chill and hang-out in Pampanga.
Unlike other food parks in and out of the metro, Moderno houses three air-conditioned rooms upstairs (named Studio, Craft Room, and Workshop) that can be reserved for private functions, craft work shops, meetings, and even pop-up shops.
One of their recurring tenant that does a pop-up shop is actually a barber’s store!
And whenever the place is really jam-packed, they would sometimes accommodate customers in these function rooms.
Despite opening just two months ago, Moderno food park has already launched 17 stalls, all serving some of the best eats you can try in Pampanga, for an affordable price!
Fiammata
Fiammata, which means flame or blaze in Italian, is owned by Chef Matthew Mitchell who also owns a restaurant in Pampanga called, ‘Chef’s Table’. They’re popular for their Build-Your-Own pizza, salad and crepe concept, but they also offer signature creations where everything is made from artisanal and healthy ingredients. They will be serving pastas and Italian sodas soon!

Steak N’ Bake
Steak N’ Bake by Chef Romel Ducut serves a wide selection of Western house specialties such as steak, beef stroganoff, baked chicken, roast beef, and more. Once the customer picks a main dish, this comes with their choice of sauce and two side dishes.

Fat Mama
Fat Mama provides customers’ all-time favorite chicken wings in different kinds of flavors. They say that their wings are best paired with their classic rootbeer float. They also have ice cream popsicles here by PICOLE!

You heard that right, this is the same famous restaurant that arguably has the best tokwa’t baboy and sisig in Pampanga, and they just recently opened a separated mini restaurant at the outdoor location of Moderno food park.
