Hot Star Fried Chicken – SM Manila

Hot Star is a Taiwan street food most popular for its specially-marinated and perfectly cut XXL fried chicken. It was an instant hit for locals and tourists alike since it opened as a little kiosk in Shi Lin Night Market Taiwan in 1992. This is the group’s 8th branch. Hot Star Cubao also just opened a few weeks ago.

Tapenade – Discovery Primea Makati

Posporo – Century City Mall

Posporo is the newest stall to open at Century City Mall’s Hole in the Wall offering Fil-Mex comfort food. Their menu includes Mexican street tacos, burritos and tostadas paired with Filipino toppings like Tocino, Chicken Inasal, Sisig and more.

MB Cebu Lechon – Aurora Blvd.

MB Cebu Lechon offers Cebu-style and spiced lechon belly, lechon manok de Cebu and other Filipino favorites like lato salad, chopsuey and kinilaw na tanigue. MB Cebu Lechon is named after Maico and Ben, 2 of the partners that conceptualized the restaurant.

Zark’s Burgers – SM Fairview

Zark’s Burgers was once a little hole-in-the-wall burger joint only familiar to DLSU students and Taft crowd. Now on its 7th branch, it has become one of the most popular local burger chains in the metro. It is most known for its triple and quadruple-stacked burgers and burger-eating challenges.

A casual and affordable charcoal barbecue buffet featuring char-grilled juicy meat, street food and fresh seafood. This will be their 2nd branch, their first location is in San Antonio Village, Makati here.

Sabao Filipino Soup Bar – Salcedo Village

A create-your-own soup bar featuring 5 Filipino basic signature soups: Bulalo, Tinola, Sinigang, Molo and Binakol. Sabao offers ‘not just your ordinary soup bowl.’ This is the newest addition to the Mothership Group which brought us Hatch 22, Pink Panda, Niner Ichi Nana and the recently opened Bait’s Seafood Kitchen and Sprout.

CoCo Ichibanya Curry House – Estancia Mall

Japan’s #1 curry house has finally arrived to the Philippines thanks to the UCC Group. Guests will enjoy customizing their own plates from the amount of rice, spiciness of the curry and toppings. They are set to open to the public on Sunday, March 1. Watch out for branches around the metro soon, including Rockwell, Greenhills, BGC, Malate, and The Grove.
