Nommu Restobar – Metrowalk

Nommu offers Japanese fusion pica-picas, a selection of beer, wines and signature cocktails. This is their 2nd branch in the metro, find them in Tomas Morato as well.

RB Cty / Rib City – Maginhawa

A fun and hip restaurant in the Maginhawa area specializing in ribs. It also offers open sandwiches, salads and other snacks like potato skin and quesadilla. In line with their restaurant concept, they encourage guests to play and build legos while waiting for orders.

OPENING SOON:

Maisen – SM Megamall / Greenbelt / SM North

Another addition to Suyen Corporation (Bench group), Maisen is one of Japan’s most popular joints featuring their perfectly fried Tonkatsu using Kurobuta black pig and served with their signature sauce. It is expected to open its first branch in mid-2015.

Marugame Seimen  – TBA

Also from Bench group, Marugame Seimen features 2 of everyone’s favorite Japanese dishes–udon and tempura. Since its inception in 2005, it has grown to over 300 outlets. Move over ramen, thick fatty udon is landing in Manila soon.

Pablo – Robinsons Manila

One of Tokyo’s most popular cake and cheese tart specialty shops. It is expected to open in July.

Crisostomo – Blue Bay Walk

A casual restaurant from celebrity chef, Florabel Co-Yatco. Aptly named after the protagonist in national hero Jose Rizal’s acclaimed novel, Noli Me Tangere, it serves classic Filipino dishes with a twist.

One of the country’s most popular and go-to restaurants for Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dishes. Their bestsellers include: kabab, keema and the ox brain.

Moonleaf + Bunnies Cafe – Binondo

A new board game cafe in the heart of Binondo that will be serving you milk tea from Moonleaf, fresh coffee, comfort food such as rice meals, fries and pasta, and desserts. Their soft opening is on March 18. Now wouldn’t it be great if there were actual bunnies in the place? Look for this logo for now.

Chelsea Kitchen – Eastwood

Chelsea Kitchen is part of the Raintree Restaurants group, the same group that manages Saboten, Stella, Rocket Room and more. It offers a big selection of ‘Feel Good Food’ including pastas, pizzas, salads, burgers, desserts and more.
