Flaming Wings – Katipunan Ave.

Quick, affordable, and convenient, Flaming Wings is situated nearly in the middle of the Katipunan stretch. Students go here to grab a quick bite of wings, chicken tenders, and their well-known Wicked Oreos. Insider tip: watch out for Wicked Wednesdays; get a free serving of Wicked Oreos with a minimum purchase of P300 every Wednesday!

Xocolat – B. Gonzales St.

Xocolat was started to play devil’s advocate to the Philippine cafe culture where coffee rules over everyone. They offer different forms and flavors of hot chocolate. It doesn’t end with their beverages though, they have baked goods, and delicious food. They even have a pasta dish with chocolate! Hmm…

Gino’s Brick Oven Pizza – Katipunan Ave.

Italian pizza baked in an authentic brick oven. What else can you ask for? How about delicious pasta and dishes? Fret not, Gino’s also serves must-try pasta and other Italian food. Check out their Salted Egg Pasta next time you visit, it’s definitely a different experience for the taste buds.

Zark’s – Katipunan Ave.

Zark’s burgers live by the motto, the bigger, the better. It offers huge, greasy, meat-overloaded burgers that will satisfy hungry students after a long day of hard work. You can even take hunger to a whole different by trying to complete their different burger challenges wherein you get the meal free if you finish it in a certain amount of time! Chubby Chicken – Esteban Abada St.

This one’s another go-to chicken place. Their simple flavor-coated chicken is a must-try. They also infuse their special chicken with their other dishes such as pasta, sandwiches, and even tacos. They have the familiar deep-fried Oreos for dessert, but something unique for this restaurant is their deep-fried Twinkies. Yup, Twinkies!

B Wings is one of those underrated restaurants in the area. It’s a little hidden, found along Esteban Abada, behind the Regis Building along Katipunan, but the different flavors of their wings are all worth trying.

Sweet Inspirations – Katipunan Ave.

It is one of the longest running restaurants in Katipunan. 22 years since it began and it is still satisfying customers who visit them. The place offers a laid-back vibe perfect for a cozy dining experience either with family or friends. They usually have promos, such as breakfast buffets, unlimited Mongolian bowls, and more so always watch out for the latest one. Sweet Inspirations is not only a restaurant; it is also a bakeshop and catering company. You may even spot Piolo, it’s on his top 10 favorite restaurants list.

Torch – UP Town Center

Italian, Spanish, and American cuisine all in one place. Located at UP Town Center, Torch is a fairly new player in the Katipunan dining scene. First-timers and regular customers alike do not go home disappointed. Some survey respondents even claim this is one of the places to take your date for a meal.
