They’re as good as they look.

PILYO

CHEEKY is a term used in Australia when someone is a bit sassy or mischievous in a playful way. In Filipino, we call it, ‘PILYO‘.

According to the owners who were born in Sydney, Filipino food is not that relevant or widely known yet in Australia as much as the other cuisines. Having worked as a site caterer for Cammeray Golf Club in the lower North Shore of Sydney, they started to introduce our very own cuisine on the menu. Slowly but surely, the response from the customers were surprisingly good, that the owners decided to create PILYO where they can solely create good Filipino cuisine.

When a sudden illness in the family brought back the owners to Manila, they decided to bring PILYO with them. Their flagship products are cheesecake soufflés in Filipino traditional flavors, made with baking techniques that they learned in Australia.
