Sarabeth’s
Sarabeth’s is a famous bakery from New York that serves homemade jams, freshly baked pastries, and brunch plates.
Owner and founder Sarabeth Levine is a pastry chef and a multi-award winning restaurateur who started the business back in 1981. She won the James Beard Foundation’s “ Outstanding Pastry Chef of the Year” award in 1996 which is one of the most prestigious recognitions in the culinary industry. In 2015, she was elected to the Specialty Food Association’s Hall of Fame.
It was her family’s unique 200 year old recipe for Orange Apricot Marmalade that catapulted her small bakery-kitchen to the spotlight and the rest, as they say, is history.
Fun fact: Couple Sarabeth and Bill Levine used to make their jams at their apartment in Manhattan. Fast forward to today, their jams are now mass produced in a 15,000 s.f. factory in the Bronx and is available at various department stores and small gourmet shops worldwide.

Rugelach
This crunchy and delicious traditional Eastern European Jewish cookie is hand rolled. It is made from a cream cheese based dough and contains raspberry jam, ground up walnuts, cinnamon, chocolate, raisins and sugar. It’s Sarabeth’s family’s favorite!

Like our chocolate chip cookie, only crispier, with added sliced almonds for a nutty flavor.

The Sarabeth chain of restaurants has come a long way from their humble beginnings and now has a total of 16 Sarabeth’s restaurants throughout the world: 10 in the United States, 4 in Japan, and a branch each in Taiwan and South Korea.
