In the early 2010’s, dining in malls was the in thing to do. Apart from there being a ton of options to choose from, it was considered convenient as one could enjoy window shopping while waiting for the food to arrive. This informal style of eating was preferred until Stockton Place brought back bistro-style dinning in Manila.
The Salcedo restaurant was considered to be off the beaten path. However, word of its elegant and flavorful food quickly spread by word-of-mouth. People realized that you can, in fact, enjoy the finer things in life in a casual setting.

Stockton Place has a homey yet modern feel with its black and white interiors, floor-to-ceiling tiles, and blackboard menu. The decor is reminiscent of a diner; you would never expect to enjoy thick USDA prime rib eye, foie gras, scallops, and more at this restaurant.
