The Modern Vulca – Metrowalk
The Modern Vulca is a newly-opened bar in Metrowalk owned by a group of three friends, Keith Garcia, Kristina Honoras, and Pancho Magno. The three decided to start this business because of their love for food and entertaining friends.
Serving Tex-Mex comfort food and refreshing alcoholic drinks, this restaurant is a far cry from the usual resto-bars around Metrowalk because of their eye-catching, artistic interiors that promote a laid-back and comfortable ambiance away from the loud crowd.
Most of the paintings and other art-related items here are either donated by their friends or personally made by one of the partners, Keith Garcia.
The featured sculpture below is actually a deformed lamp, shaped like a woman’s face!
Not to be confused with their old Maginhawa branch, this is a different concept as their previous one, which is Italian-Filipino, has now ceased operations. As for the food, all dishes are personal recipes by Keith and Kristina. Take a look at some of their delicious and very affordable offers:

They have four rice bowls to choose from: Kimchi Rice, Gourmet Tuyo, Garlic Tapa and Bibimbap
Aside from their food, they also have a variety of signature alcoholic drinks such as their fish bowl cocktails and flavored beers.

The Modern Vulca just recently opened last November 11, but the owners have big events planned out like movie nights and open mic nights. This will be your new after work destination for good food and drinks over lively conversations with your best buddies.
