The Rooftop – Katipunan
Just a stone’s throw away from eternally bustling Katipunan Avenue, Esteban Abada street is home to a number of eateries, cafes, and watering holes. Nestled atop the CCA Library and Research Center is The Rooftop. With its clinical facade, it might look unpromising at first glance – don’t be fooled.

Cross the courtyard and head up the stairs to the library where a second flight of stairs will lead you to the laid-back spot which is sure to become your go-to place for sunset sessions and after-work drinks.
The newly-opened rooftop bar is a refreshing oasis – ideal for those in search of a less crowded and less rowdy spot. There’s no other place like it in the area that can offer the best possible outdoor experience.
The Rooftop has a variety of seating options: an eclectic mix of garden sets, bar tops, and dining tables. The place is perfect for large groups of friends (or for meeting new ones).
Aside from outdoor seating, what sets The Rooftop a mark above the rest is their unmatched hospitality. For one, the staff are friendly and accommodating. The establishment accepts reservations and unlike the other bars in the area, they have a parking lot and the option of valet parking! Without these to worry about, you can truly kick back and relax.

The Rooftop’s menu is streamlined, consisting only of signature and classic cocktails, liquor by the bottle, soda, and San Miguel beer. They don’t serve their own food (yet!) but the powerhouse team behind The Rooftop says they already have a line-up of collaborations with concessionaires in the works – mainly underground vendors with cult followings like Chicks 2 Go and Tetsuo. Only time will tell what other surprises they have in store!
