If we haven’t said it enough, our monthly Pasay list have become THE hub of burgers and buffets. We have one new entry this month and surprise, surprise, it’s still a buffet–a 24/7 buffet nonetheless inside Resorts World Manila. Foodies caught interest in this new place mainly because of the innovative dishes heavily infused with various Filipino dishes and delicacies. Read on to find out what to expect when you visit them.

10. The Burger Lab – Two E-Com Center

The Burger Lab is a casual and modern build-your-own ‘burgery’ that allows customers to not just point out ingredients, but they actually let them assemble their own burgers. Choose from a wide selection of buns, patties, toppings and sauces, as well as how you want it cooked. It’s for a fun and interactive space for children, family and friends. It’s not for people looking for a wide variety of food. We recommend you assemble your own fun burgers. Our insider tip is they have live bands on Wednesdays and are closed on Sundays.
9. Conti’s Bakeshop – Blue Bay Walk

Conti’s is a pastry and bakeshop that serves a number of homegrown signature dishes and delicious desserts. It has grown from a simple family restaurant which began in 1997 to more than 10 branches in total, including 1 take out nook. It’s for people looking to enjoy Conti’s cakes for any type of occasion or for a quick takeaway. It’s not for people who don’t like sweets. We recommend the Baked Salmon, Baked Prawns, Mango Bravo and Choco Overload. Our insider tip is their coffee has complimentary refill.
8. New York Pinoy Deli (NYPD) – Resorts World Manila
NYPD: New York Pinoy Deli is a new 24/7 buffet and deli concept restaurant headed by Chef Angelo “Chubby” Timban, whose track record in the hotel industry is unprecedented. At NYPD, he brings the exquisite flavors of both New York City and Manila into each dish. It’s for buffet eaters who still want Filipino infused flavors. It’s not for vegetarians or picky eaters. We recommend you make space in your tummy for their Reuben sandwich, laing lasagna, and tinapa pasta. Our insider tip is NYPD’s all-day menu is open from 11:00am until 4:00am next day, the breakfast buffet is from 6:00 to 10:30am, while the grab-and-go deli counter is open 24/7.
7. Banzai: The Great Teppanyaki Theater – SM by the Bay
Another great addition to the SumoSam Group of Restaurants led by actor/entrepreneur Marvin Agustin, Banzai has captured the public’s attention with their high impact Japanese interiors and fiery teppanyaki exhibition. It’s for people who want to feel transported into different parts of Japan via their city interiors. It’s not for people who prefer an intimate experience. We recommend you visit their Trick Art Gallery for fun photo sessions. Our insider tip is get only what you can consume, leftover charge is P1,288.
6. Buffet 101 – SM by the Bay

Buffet 101 is a buffet restaurant serving international cuisine with a ‘five-star hotel feel’ but at an affordable price. They claim to have the longest buffet table with the opening of their Glorietta branch. It’s for people looking to fill up their tummies without hurting their pockets. It’s not for people with small appetites. We recommend you plan out and pace your food helpings. Our insider tip is to save room for dessert as customers are raving about them.
5. Charaptor BBQ – SM by the Bay

Charaptor was originally a quiet player in the San Antonio Village in Makati but now offers a wider and slightly more expensive food selection in their second, much bigger branch. Charaptor BBQ is a casual and affordable charcoal barbecue buffet featuring various char-grilled juicy meat, street food, fresh seafood and vegetables; a number of sauces and unlimited drinks are also included. It’s for people with big appetite for grilled foods. It’s not for vegetable lovers. We recommend you go for their lunch and weekday dinners for a cheaper rate. Our insider tip is each table can only accommodate 4 or 5 people.
4. 8 Cuts Burger Blends – Mall of Asia

Joining the make-your-own burger wagon is the highly raved about 8 Cuts Burger Blends. ‘8 Cuts’ is a reference to the eight cuts of beef used in the five custom blends that only they offer. It’s for people who enjoy getting their hands dirty. It’s not for people looking for a quick take out burger. We recommend the Q-Daddy Burger. Our insider tip is to follow them for updates on special and limited burger blends.
3. Sarsa Kitchen + Bar – Mall of Asia

Sarsa Kitchen + Bar (‘sarsa’ meaning sauce in English) was created on the premise that Filipinos love eating food with accompanying sauces or condiments. Celebrity chef JP Anglo, who is from Bacolod, has successfully housed the best of traditional Filipino and Negrense (from Negros) dishes into one kitchen. This is their 2nd branch after the Fort branch. It’s for people who don’t mind a mix of flavorful sauces on their plates. It’s not for people who are on a ‘no-rice’ diet. We recommend the Sizzling Kansi, Inasal na Isaw and Ginamos Rice. Our insider tip for vegans, we read that their vegetable dishes are cooked in shrimp broth, so confirm orders with the staff/manager first. Chef JP just opened his newest cafe in Rockwell area, Kafe Batwan.
2. Spiral Buffet – Sofitel Philippine Plaza

The new Spiral Buffet is one of the most lavish buffets in the country. It has 21 dining ateliers showcasing the best of international cuisines, which includes the new and popular L’Epicerie, or the “cheese room”. It’s for a grand experience and photo taking opportunities with your family and friends. It’s not for people who don’t eat much. We recommend you leave room for their cheese selections and foie gras station. Our insider tip is you can get Spirals Gift Certificates for gifting or your own consumption. Vikings Luxury Buffet have redefined the buffet service industry; what was once mostly available in hotels catering to tourists and the well heeled has now been made available to everyone. It’s for families and groups who are looking to celebrate special occasions affordably. Customers are loving their avocado ice cream. It’s not for people who prefer the ambiance of a hotel buffet.
