Apartment 1B – Salcedo Village & Rockwell
Apartment 1B was once a hidden gem that only Makati residents and office goers know. They serve classic and gourmet comfort food from Chef Marivic-Diaz Lim (also of organic sister, Kitchen 1B) at reasonable prices. Try their popular Eggs Benedict and Big Breakfast.

YDG or Your Daily Grind is a hipster and hidden cafe in Makati serving specialty coffee including cold brew, sandwiches and more.
Mentore Coffee + Bar by UCC – Park Terraces
Mentore basically has the same blueprints as its sister cafe, UCC Cafe Terrace. The only difference? Mentore serves alcoholic beverages, UCC doesn’t.
Toby’s Estate Coffee Roasters – Salcedo Village
Toby’s Estate Coffee Roasters is a premier roasting company from Australia serving specialty coffee using beans from owner Toby Smith’s estate, a multi-award winning coffee plantation named Finca Santa Teresa (FST) in Panama. Aside from coffee, they also serve delightful breakfast, all-day meals and pastries.
Maple – San Antonio Plaza
Maple is Manila’s premier all-day fine-dining restaurant featuring western comfort food and breakfast items like gourmet prime rib tapa and their famous pancakes, among others. This is the restaurant’s pioneer branch.
Crepe Amelie – Makati Ave.
Crepe Amelie is a dessert and cafe specializing in savory and sweet crepes. They also serve a selection of pasta and refreshments.
Yamato Bakery Cafe – Jupiter St.
Yamato Bakery is a Japanese bakery serving fresh Japanese breads and pastries, desserts and good coffee. They just recently released a new item called the ‘Cruffin’, which is a fusion between a croissant and a muffin. The word ‘Yamato’, which was an area in Nara province, is also considered to be an ancient name of Japan.
