A bite of the Big Apple

Whether you’re looking for the right spot for your morning meetings, afternoon hangouts, barkada dinners, late night drinks, or family brunches during the weekend, Borough serves authentic NYC comfort food that’s great for any kind of get-together.

Borough

Mikko and Patrick Santos are the guys behind Borough. Inspired by their many visits to “The City That Never Sleeps,” they first opened Borough in 2010 at The Podium. For seven years, it was a popular spot— loved for its comforting dishes and industrial feel.

Fun Fact: The restaurateur brothers are responsible for other New York-inspired concepts in the Metro including Nolita and hip-hop hot spot, The Bowery.

When the mall underwent a total overhaul in 2017, Borough closed down. Many were devastated because they thought they had lost their go-to hip hangout.

Well, if you haven’t heard, Borough is back and better than ever! Now with a new home in Bonifacio High Street Central, the new Borough is brighter and more sophisticated.

There are still some hints of the industrial elements that were iconic of the original branch, but one step inside the new Borough in BGC and you’ll realize that change is a good thing. “It’s at once a dining spot you’ll want to know more about. Cozy and exciting, the design elements make good conversation starters,” say the Santos brothers.
