Book a table and get ₱500 off!

It was in 2007 that husband and wife, Noel and Loren Andres, began entering the pastry business. Cassalu Coffee and Kitchen started out as a small stand in Manila’s usual night markets and Christmas bazaars and later on progressed to the Cassalu Coffee and Kitchen we now know today.

Jack Ma, founder and chairman of Alibaba, once said, “What you do after work determines your future” and that exactly applies to Loren. A Certified Public Accountant by day, by night Loren would spend her free time doing what she loved most– cooking. She would bury herself in gastronomical books, experiment with recipes, and she also enrolled in culinary classes.

Fun Fact: "Cassalu" was actually named after their children, Cassandra and Lucas. It's also meant to mean "kasálo", meaning a person with whom one shares meals with.

From Cassalu’s humble beginnings, the restaurant has quickly progressed to four locations in the metro, Las Pinas, Makati, Quezon City, and Marikina.
