Welcome the year of the Metal Ox!

Chinese New Year is upon us. Although we might not be able to celebrate it this year with a bang like how we’re used to, we can still celebrate it at the comforts of our homes with the people we love safely. But what’s a Chinese New Year without some awesome Chinese food to celebrate it with?

We know how preparations for big events such as this requires a lot of hard work – and let’s face it, it can get quite overwhelming fast. That’s why some families opt to celebrate it by booking Chinese restaurants instead. However, this may pose a problem this year due to the pandemic, and getting a reservation might be a lot more difficult especially if you haven’t started looking yet.

Don’t you fret because we’ve listed down Chinese restaurants that offer Chinese food trays to save you all the hassle of preparing them yourselves or stressing out trying to get a reservation. Just make sure to order in advance to avoid any unnecessary hassle.

North Park

Chinoy comfort food. That’s probably one of the best ways to describe North Park. The 25-year-old franchise has served as a refuge for those who have been craving Chinese food late in the night — whether at home or after a long night of drinking. You can choose to order their Party Picks that are served in microwavable trays for easy serving.

Hap Chan

Believe it or not, Hap Chan had very humble beginnings. It started out in 1999 serving Chinoy favorites like congee, mami, and dim sum. Now, they’ve grown the entire franchise! But even though their expanded menu and years of changes, their roasted asado noodles, and meatball congee still holds a special place in our hearts. You can choose to order their family size or party size depending on how grand your celebration is.

Available via: Pick-up, in-house delivery, or delivery via GrabFood.

Before the lockdown, Lugang Cafe was known for their great noodles, dim sum, and the feast-all-you-can promo that came along with it.
