We all love the classic Choco Butternut but as Filipinos, we also just can’t get enough of our beloved ube so we were extremely thrilled upon hearing the news of Dunkin’ Donuts’ new munchkin flavour.
Introducing… The Purple Yam flavoured munchkin! Sink your teeth in the distinct earthy flavour of ube combined with the sweet and buttery goodness of Dunkin’s munchkin.

Dunkin’ Donuts – multiple branches
Dunkin Donuts needs no introduction. This popular brand has doughnuts of many variants, sandwiches, coffee, and more. They do deliveries in selected areas! The star of their show for years and counting is their famous Choco Butternut flavor.
Although no official statement has been made by Dunkin’ Donuts yet, an actual Bucket of Munchkins seems to be on its way. One whole bucket. Of Munchkins.
Dunkin’ Donuts’ dropped a few teasers on their Facebook page hinting at the incoming surprise.
But word on the street is that it’s out in several Dunkin’ Donuts branches! So while you’ll have to keep your eyes out for which branch near you is selling the buckets already, we’ve recently uncovered a few more details about this doughnut drop. But first thing’s first, take a wild guess at how many Munchkins can fit!
A bucket of Munchkins, with the flavor of your choice: choose between all Choco Butternut, all Butternut, a mix of classic flavors and premium flavors, or a mix of Munchkins and Donuts! That’s 40 pieces in one bucket.
Price: ₱349 for one bucket!
The official dates (and whether the item is a limited treat) of nationwide selling are still unknown, but come August 15, these buckets of miracles will be available for delivery!

Tim Hortons is Canada’s world-renowned coffee house established in 1964 in Ontario, serving a diverse roster of coffee selections and their famous donuts. They also have the famous Timbits – their version of doughnut holes.

Purple Oven is one of the most-known homegrown bakeries in Manila serving savory and decadent baked goods such as tarts, pies, doughnuts, and rich cakes.

Lil’ Orbits is a humble food stall with many branches all over the country. They are known for their mini doughnuts that can be tried in different flavors such as chocolate, cookies and cream, cinnamon, and more.
J.Co Donuts – multiple branches
J. Co Donuts is an Indonesian donut franchise offering gourmet donuts and coffee combining flavors from both the West and the East.

After being denied of a Krispy Kreme franchise, the Trillana-de Ocampo family decided to put up their own donut shop. This homegrown brand is known to serve donuts that are similar to KK but less sweet and more affordable!
Cello’s Doughnuts – multiple branches
First seen in grocery stores, Cello’s is a doughnut shop by husband and wife, Cello and Jutes Templo. Unlike other shops, their doughnuts are always warm and freshly-baked. They also have letters-shaped doughnuts, best for special and sweet occasions!
Gavino’s Japanese Donuts – multiple branches
Gavino’s is not your ordinary donut brand, for they specialize in Japanese mochi donuts that is known for its chewy and gooey texture.
Little Flour Cafe – multiple branches
An all-day brunch cafe that serves Wild Flour’s best breakfast dishes, sandwiches, pastries, coffee, rice bowls, and desserts, Little Flour Cafe’s also got donuts that your sweet tooth will thank you for.
Bonus: If you want a modern twist on the typical donut, they also serve cronuts which is the delicious mash-up of a donut and a croissant.
