Bar Centrale is an Italian pasta bar located in Salcedo Village in Makati. It’s the latest from Bistronomia food group, which is the group behind Tomatito, La Lola Churreria, Las Flores, and more.
The name stems from similar places in Italy, where a bar or cafe is placed in centric or densely populated areas, like train stations or plazas. Being located themselves in an area that has a lot of people and is surrounded by residential and commercial buildings, they felt the name was appropriate.
They have classy, rustic interiors with neutral colors and wooden accents. The walls are white and brick-styled, and it has a few decorations including having different colored pasta hanging on display.
The place has a warm and relaxed feeling, where one can go to enjoy a quick and hearty meal in between office hours, or as a place to sit and enjoy a delicious plate of pasta. There’s also a bar where they serve some drinks.
They pride themselves in serving freshly-made pasta, elevating the taste and experience of eating the food to something truly special. It’s simple, but has that home-made, natural taste, that usually makes food even better.
