Wonder Woman

The 2016 adaptation of DC Comics’s most popular female character is one hell of an action adventure flick. The movie is filled with girl power moments and good ol’ badassery that’ll leave you with so much energy and excitement. Also, Gal. Freaking. Gadot. ‘Nuff said.

Step Up Series

#FitnessGoalsAF lead characters, slick choreography, and sick beats—this series has got it all. The heart pounding music instantly gets you pumped and the dance moves make you want to enroll yourself in a dance class. This series guarantees you’ll get an itch to start moving your body and well, step up your fitness game.

Rocky Series

The first Rocky film has the training montage that gave birth to all the other training montages. Seeing Sylvester Stallone slay those workouts kinda makes you feel like you can do it, too, since Rocky was just an average guy before becoming a pro boxer.

Eddie the Eagle

Eddie the Eagle is not your typical underdog flick. Unlike other underdog flicks where the main character trains and becomes the victor, Eddie just wants to go to the Olympics to compete. He faces tough challenges, but pushes through them like it’s NBD. So when you feel like you can’t finish your workout, think of Eddie. It’s already a win that you’re in the gym!

Captain America: Civil War

Civil War is the MCU’s first attempt at a big superhero crossover and it was glorious. It was filled with thrilling action sequences like Captain America’s biceps during the helicopter scene, the chase with The Winter Soldier and the Black Panther, and Spider-Man swinging into battle. All the superheroes had their time to shine and made it difficult for us to choose which martial art class we’d like to enroll ourselves in.

Bring It On

Bring it on is the champion of all cheerleading movies. Not only is it fun to watch, it also shows just how much work gets put in a cheerleading routine. Cheerleading is tough with all those lifts, tosses, and choreography, not to mention the constant pressure to stay on top.

The Incredibles

Sometimes, all you need is a Pixar movie to give you the motivation you need. While all the other characters we’re impressive, it’s was Mr. Incredible’s incredible training montage that takes the award. He could be fitness goal for bodybuilders because Mr. Incredible is a freaking beast.

Kung Fu Panda

The classic underdog storyKung Fu Panda tells the tale of Po, an overweight panda who is met with doubt when he trains with far experienced fighters. That doesn’t make him lose motivation, though. He realizes he can stay true to himself and still be a dragon warrior. Just make sure you’re full when you watch this, because you might get Chinese food cravings.

American Ninja Warrior

American Ninja Warrior tests the abilities of athletes in a series of obstacle courses that increase in difficulty. It usually features mini interviews with the competitors where they detail experiences that pushed them to start training for the show, and it’s encouraging to see real people push boundaries and become better athletes.

Mission Impossible Series

Tom Cruise’s stunts and physique (he’s already in his 50’s, can you believe?!) are just way too impressive and it kinda lights a little fire of envy because you know you wish you also had the strength to cling onto a flying plane. Don’t forget to add the theme song to your workout playlist: it’s a great soundtrack to warm up to.
