Their classes last for 50 minutes and are set to a personalized playlist that is curated by the instructor. Looking for a healthy drink after class? Electric Studio is the very first spinning studio in Metro Manila. They make use of choreographed exercises and weights to engage the whole body during the class. The classes last 45 minutes, are held in candlelit rooms, and feature high energy beats that make the participants forget that they’re actually working out. They have a class specifically for beginners called Jumpstart which teaches the basic fundamentals of spinning.

Saddle Row offers classes for both cycling and rowing, if the name didn’t spell it out already. They offer three classes for indoor cycling. Exchange classes focus on your RPM, Resistance classes make use of resistance bands to give your upper body a workout, and Underground classes are more choreographed and is a good choice for beginners. Depending on the class, each session may last 45 to 60 minutes.

Instead, they says their classes engage the whole body and even the mind to guarantee that feel-good endorphin hormones keep flowing even after you leave the studio. Cyclehouse offers four types of classes: Fun Ride, which is a mixture of choreographed sprints, climbs, and light exercises which is perfect for beginners, Theme Ride, which follows a specific genre, theme, or artist and lasts 55 minutes per session, Resistance, which features heavier pumps and weighted exercises, and Endurance, which is a cardio workout that aims to improve cardiovascular and muscular endurance and is not advisable for beginners.

What’s up with WattUp? It’s an indoor power-based cycling training studio for people who are gearing up for a race. Yep, no fancy lights and curated playlists here. Instead, you bring your bike and hook it up on a screen that shows an instructional video that you must follow. With Metro Manila traffic and it’s undisciplined drivers, that kind of training set up is so much more effective and safe.
