Said to be adapted from early Chinese immigrants, Hainanese Chicken is one of the most popular Singaporean dishes. It’s a chicken rice dish, served with rice cooked in chicken broth, with three dipping sauces – ginger, dark soy sauce, and chili. Some restaurants here offer a half and half option where the other half is roasted chicken.
