We are literally going to get this bread.
If you’re in the business of breaking bread, you know that there’s nothing quite as satisfying or exhilarating as discovering a restaurant that blesses its patrons with the gift that is free, on-the-house, 100% complimentary, order-as-much-as-you-want bread. For some unknown reason, bread hits a fundamental, essential, and almost primordial spot that other food groups just cannot.
And Booky is all about that bread life- we’ve rounded up a list of some of our favorite restaurants where you can get basket after basket of free, fresh, and delicious bread. Don’t worry, this is a judgement-free, carb-loving zone. So, whether you like it plain, dipped in some olive oil and balsamic vinegar, or if you think that bread is better with butter, let Booky help you get that bread.
Italianni’s – multiple branches
It would almost be disrespectful to begin any “Free Bread” list without starting off with Italianni’s. Though Italianni’s is well-known for serving authentic pizza and pasta, let’s be honest, sometimes we go just for the free bread. Served fresh with a mix of Italian olive oil and a splash of balsamic vinegar on the side, Italianni’s delivers the definitivebread and balsamic combo that bread lovers go crazy for.
Mama Lou’s – multiple branches
A homegrown Italian chain that’s come to be beloved by many, Mama Lou’s definitely knows a thing or two about serving up great bread. Mama Lou’s keeps its classic when it comes to their complimentary bread, serving up warm, fluffy slices of bread with a side of light olive oil and a thicker balsamic vinegar.
Outback Steakhouse – multiple locations
Our first non-Italian entry on the list, Outback Steakhouse is an international chain that’s primarily known, of course, for their steak. Their Bushman Bread, however, is a sleeper-hit and has an irreplaceable pre-steak appetizer for Outback regulars and first-timers alike.
Mamou – multiple locations
One of Metro Manila’s premier restaurants, Mamou has become renowned for their world class steaks and incredible pastas. But aside from the main courses, Mamou serves up a variety of complimentary freshly-made buns that go along perfectly with a bit (or a lot) of butter. Just be sure not to get too full before your steak arrives.
Red Lobster – SM Mall of Asia
Fresh from the U.S., Red Lobster is a seafood chain famous all over the world for their great tasting lobster and incredible seafood specialties. The perfect pair to their seafood offers, their Cheddar Bay Biscuits are a staple to any Red Lobster meal and have gained a cult following. In fact, they’ve gotten so popular that Red Lobster has started offering a take-home option for the light and cheesy treat.
La Cabrera – Glorietta Complex, Makati
Making its way to the Philippines all the way from Argentina, this international steakhouse is no slouch when it comes to satisfying and appetizing complimentary bread baskets. A world class take on the classic protein and carbs combo? You certainly won’t see us trying to argue with that.

Ristorante Bigoli – multiple branches
Perhaps one of the most well-known names when it comes to unlimited bread baskets is the casual Italian joint, Ristorante Bigoli. Bigoli somehow adds even more value to their free bread offering by baking up garlic breadsticks. These enticing appetizers are definitely a crowd favorite and are reason enough on their own to pay Ristorante Bigoli a visit.
Wildflour Cafe + Bakery – multiple locations
Establishing itself as one of the top brunch spots in the country, it should come as no surprise that Wildflour Cafe + Bakery bakes up a mean batch of bread. Free and fresh bread, house-made butter, and the perfect pastas and drinks to go with it- who can ask for more?
We hope that this list has (at least temporarily) satisfied that insatiable bread craving. If you want first dibs on the freshest offers on food, fitness, and beauty that the Metro has to offer, download the Booky app today!
