Montaditos Y Mas on Booky

The 300-year rule of Spain over the Philippines has brought about numerous contributions to our culture. One of the best influences of the Spaniards to our country is their love for good food and a good glass of wine. Paellas, gambas, and salpicao are the usual suspects when it comes to dining at a Spanish restaurants, but there’s more to this complex cuisine that meets the eye.

They specialize in bite-sized sandwiches called ‘montaditos’ and other authentic Spanish tapas like their bestselling pulpo (octopus) and the Rabo de Toro (ox tail).

Start off your meals with an order of their Shrimp and Garlic Croquetas–these are served in batches of three bite-sized pieces of hot and freshly-fried savory goodness.

It is highly recommended to sample everything on their menu, most especially their side dishes. Each side dish has a taste and texture of its own but are all curated to match each main dish. Some of their special sides include the Almost Paella and the Salmorejo, which are both ideal sides for their Rabo de Toro and the Pork Belly Montaditos.
