Lin’s Kitchen is a small underrated diner along Sgt. Esguerra, that specializes in authentic noodles, dimsum, and claypot rice meals. Prices are very affordable. with most dishes under 200 bucks. They also have bubble waffles in different flavors!

Caution Hot – Kapitolyo

Caution Hot is a Chinese restaurant specializing in spicy hot noodles. Diners get to customize their own bowls by choosing from a wide selection of noodles, toppings, broths and burn (or spice level). This is its 2nd branch, next to Maginhawa.

Tai Koo HK Roast – various branches

Tai Koo HK Roast is a Hong Kong restaurant that serves up an array of affordable quality roasted meats with their chicken and duck flown in from Hong Kong and roasted fresh everyday. The restaurant, which first opened its doors in McKinley Hill, now has branches in Salcedo and most recently, in the newly renovated The Podium.

Lam Tin Tea House – Banawe

Lam Tin is a small, no-frills Chinese teahouse in which people are seated on a first come, first served basis. One of the most telling signs of good food is when an unassuming establishment is always packed with customers. Their servings are generous and best of all, affordable. Regulars of Lam Tin recommend the hakaw, beancurd roll, and sweet n sour pork.

King Chef Dimsum Kitchen – multiple branches

With a branch now open in SM Cherry Foodarama, King Chef is quickly becoming a go-to dimsum destination. The restaurant has a wide offering of dimsum including standards like hakaw, taosi spareribs, and xiao long bao, but they also serve unique varieties like crispy shrimp noodles and taro garlic siomai.
