BBZ Bar – Kalayaan Ave.

BBZ, from the same guys behind the Beer Below Zero brand, is a newly opened drinking hub in the Rockwell area serving in-house craft beers, as well as local and imported beers. They also serve no fuss American comfort food such as salpicao, truffle fries, sausage platters, ribs and steaks–all of which go so well with their cold beers. It’s 50% off on all local beers from 3pm to 7pm Mondays thru Saturdays. P.S. Remember the BBZ ice cream we featured here? They’re also available at BBZ.

Costa Coffee – Robinsons Place Manila

Costa Coffee is UK’s #1 coffeehouse chain and 2nd to Starbucks amongst the world. The Costa menu is all about great coffee, delicious food and a dazzling array of hot and cold drinks.’ They serve a wide selection of hot and cold drinks (their bestsellers are the Flat White and Espresso), as well as breakfast, freshly baked pastries, cakes, sandwiches and wraps. Cafe SeolHwa Bingsu – Alabang

Cafe Seolhwa is a Korean dessert cafe serving snowflake ‘bingsu’ or shave iced dessert topped with chopped fruits, condensed milk, fruit syrup and beans. This is their 2nd branch in the metro.

Bar Pintxos Tapas Y Mas – Alabang

Bar Pintxos is a tapas bar serving authentic Spanish food. Pintxos and tapas are both snacks or small bites being served in a tavern or bar, the only main difference is pintxos is usually ‘spiked’ with a skewer or toothpick, often to a piece of bread.

Chibi’s Karaage – SM Light Mall

Chibi’s Karaage is a casual quick-service Japanese restaurant specializing in chicken karaage or deep fried chicken. It’s mainly for yuppies and people looking for quick and affordable meals. Aside from chicken, it also serves Kakigori, a shaved ice dessert resembling our local halo-halo.

Fuego Amigo – Pioneer St. Market

Fuego Amigo is a local restaurant inside Pioneer Street Market, specializing in peri-peri chicken, porkchops and sides. Headed by Chef Vergel Barcelon, all dishes are cooked using fresh ingredients and zero preservatives. ‘I Do’ reality show contestant and Philippine Volcanoes rugby team member Harry Morris is a part owner.

Chevy Burger – Manggahan

Chevy Burger is a quick fix American burger joint serving affordably good burgers, hotdogs, pastas, nachos, etc. since 1988. It is a burger place that hails from Marikina, expanded to Antipolo and now to Pasig. P.S. It is located at a Fil-Oil gas station.

Organico Gourmet – Mandaluyong

Organico Gourmet is an organic restaurant and gourmet super store in one. The cafe serves all-natural organic food that includes a range of cold-pressed juices, while their superstore stocks a wide range of imported superfoods from chips to dips, meats to marinades, thirst-quenchers to day starters, cookware to dried delicacies.

Rodic’s Diner – Marikina

A favorite of the UP community, Rodic’s is a top name in tapa, and has been for many years. While they have since expanded to several other branches around Quezon City and Makati, no one ever forgets the first at UP Diliman’s Shopping Center. And now, Marikina residents have a reason to celebrate because they just opened up a branch near the Marikina City Hall.

Honey Creme is a popular Korean ice cream joint specializing in organic soft-serve honeycomb ice cream. It is currently serving well in nearby Asian countries like Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore. After months of speculation since news of its arrival spread, Honey Creme Philippines has finally announced SM Aura as its flagship store.

Rue Bourbon – Tomas Morato / BF Homes

Popular for their drinks menu ranging from plain beer to mixed drinks. This New Orleans themed restaurant also has food menu ranging from bar grubs to full heavy meals. It’s a place easily filled up by yuppies around its area. This will be their 5th and 6th branch.
