Hide Yamamoto – City of Dreams Manila
Named after acclaimed chef Hide Yamamoto, the restaurant features 3 unique Japanese fine dining experiences: sushi, teppanyaki and robatayaki. This is its 4th international branch following Singapore, Jakarta and Seoul. FACT: In the photo are $2200+ appetizer plates consisting of fresh uni, caviar and edible gold.
Sprout – Greenbelt 3
Sprout offers fresh and healthy packed meals, sandwiches and snacks for people on-the-go. It also offers self-concocted healthy juices and other beverages from local suppliers. This is its 2nd branch in the metro.
Buta+Wagyu – SM Aura
Buta+Wagyu, a spin-off of Makati’s Wagyu Japanese Beef, serves only A5 quality wagyu beef (levels 9-12) flown fresh from Japan, and homegrown organic okra-fed pork. Buta means pork, while Wa-gyu means Japanese cow.
Tori Box – Fairview
Tori Box is a student-friendly diner specializing in Japanese chicken cutlets prepared in different cooking styles. Rice meals, noodles and burger meals are available for dine in and takeout.
The Green Olive Cafe – Tagaytay
The Green Olive Cafe is the first dedicated board game cafe set in a homey space in Tagaytay. It offers all-day breakfast, steak, sandwiches and other comfort food.
Rita’s Italian Ice – Alabang Town Center
Rita’s is the largest Italian ice concept in the world with over 600 stores in the US alone. It offers a variety of iced treats including its most famous flavored Italian ice (made with real fruits) topped with a swirl of thick creamy custard. This is its 3rd branch in the metro.
Crispy Corner – Shaw Center Mall
Crispy Corner is a fast casual restaurant serving burgers, Asian fusion a la carte dishes and affordable Pinoy meals that come with unlimited rice and iced tea. Bestsellers include the Bagnet Kare-Kare and Crispy Tadyang.

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory – UP Town Center
Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is a world renowned premier chocolatier and confectionery house from Colorado, USA offering premium chocolates, classic caramel apples and other sweet treats. This is their first store in Southeast Asia and will be serving coffee and other specialty beverages as well.
Casa Verde – SM Megamall
Casa Verde, one of Cebu’s most popular dining destinations, is a family-style American restaurant serving their signature value-for-money Brian’s ribs, Mighty Ton burger and tall shakes. This will be its 2nd branch in Manila.
Nanbantei of Tokyo – Alabang
Nanbantei of Tokyo specializes in yakitori or grilled skewered meat. It offers an extensive list of items on sticks from meat to seafood to vegetables, but its bestsellers are the beef yakiniku, chicken wings, salmon balls and more. This will be its 3rd branch in the metro.
Tuan Tuan Chinese Brasserie – Greenhills
Tuan Tuan, meaning ‘to put together’, puts together the best of HK comfort food in a french brasserie setting. Specialties include the snow buns, curry dishes and laksa noodles. It is a homegrown concept from the Lugang group.
