It’s no secret that Filipinos adore Japanese food and culture. So, it should come as an exciting surprise that hidden within a medical hub along Shaw Boulevard is a restaurant that serves authentic Japanese ramen for just a fraction of the cost.

Ramen Jiro was brought here by the folks behind Japan’s Tori Jiro izakaya chain, famous for their affordable charcoal-grilled kushiyaki items. If you couldn’t already tell by the name, Ramen Jiro is their new ramen-centric concept that also offers other items on the menu including gyoza, maki, and rice bowls meals.

Fun Fact: They have another branch in Rome, but it goes by a different name.
