SPAM-tastic treats await you.

If you have been a fan of the Western processed meat called Spam for a long time now, you probably know that this canned pork became wildly popular among American soldiers during the World War II as an alternative to fresh meat. Spam originally stands for “Special Processed American Meat,” but nowadays its meaning can be altered to your liking.

Since then, the Spam has been loved by many because of its delicious and distinct taste that separates it from other canned goods.

This January 2021, we’re getting an official Spam food truck right here in Manila, Philippines!

This Spam food truck is situated near the SM Hypermarket front entrance of the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.

The truck follows the brand’s yellow and blue colors, with a huge sign that says “I ♥️ SPAM” on top. There is also a giant, cute can of Spam display just beside the food truck, perfect for taking Instagram stories with!

From a distance, you can clearly see the food truck’s offers, which is everything Spam from appetizers to desserts.

Here is the Spam food truck’s menu, suited for the Filipino palate:

  • Spam Sweet & Sour Rice Bowl – ₱149
  • Spam Musubi – ₱99
  • Spam Waffle Sticks – ₱99
  • Spam Cheese Donut – ₱149
  • Spam Spicy Cup Noodles – ₱99
  • Spam Dynamite – ₱99

Of course, you can’t go wrong with the Spam Musubi and the Spam Waffle Sticks. If you’re little more adventurous, you can try getting their Spam Cheese Donut and Spam Sweet & Sour Rice Bowl for a burst of flavors.
