Stoned Steaks is the brainchild of husband-and-wife team, Dick and Mars Balajadia. The savvy entrepreneurs first discovered this way of cooking steaks while on a cruise across the Atlantic Ocean.

Cooking on rocks is not a new concept; in fact, it is one of the oldest methods of cooking dating back to when our Stone Age ancestors discovered fire. What makes Stoned Steaks so game-changing is the restaurant’s wide-selection of high-quality steaks ranging from USDA Prime Steaks to Dry-Aged Wagyu.

Apart from steaks, they also offer a number of fantastic, mouthwatering items like the Wagyu Foie Gras Burger, Spaghetti Wagyu Meatballs, and the Stoner’s Fresh Catch which has salmon, shrimp, and scallops!

Fun Fact: Dick gets his culinary flair from his experience at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, an affiliate of Le Cordon Bleu.

The lava stone plate is heated to a scorching 350°C — that’s hot enough to give the steak a caramelized crust while keeping the insides juicy and irresistibly tender. They specialize in various dry-aged steaks, including wagyu— but the bestsellers are the Angus steaks.
