Another great find in Poblacion.
The Wild Poppy, a pop-up vendor serving backyard munchies and happy hour refreshments. This was last year when they joined their first event in September. After a few months of operations and a successful pop-up at the Z Hostel rooftop bar, they’ve finally found a permanent home in the hip Poblacion neighborhood.
Inspired by garden rooftops, Wild Poppy sought to bring this same hipster vibe into their new home. Adorned with potted plants, wooden accents and colorful walls, we already know our social media feeds will be flooded with photos of their interiors by everyone who will be visiting.

Not to be outshined by the cool decors, their menu is really the highlight here. Similarly, Wild Poppy serves modern Asian dishes developed by Chef Nicco Santos, so you can expect the same spread of well-thought out dishes that’s familiar yet surprising.

Chicken Ren Damn
Sweet and spicy chicken rendang, cucumber croutons and cilantro. Choose between mantou buns or wild rice.
Hoi, Belly!
Braised and pan-seared hoisin-glazed pork belly. Choose between mantou buns or wild rice.
Kim and Reuben
Kimchi joins a reuben made with smoked corned beef, Kewpie mayo, Swiss cheese, and rocket all inside curry slider bun.
Yaki Tomorokoshi
Grilled yellow corn topped with kesong puti, yuzu smoked aioli, scallions, onions and cilantro.
Pok-Pok Bites
One of the most popular and probably the most memorable dish on their menu are these fried bite-sized chicken fillets topped with shallots and laksa leaves.
Their signature cocktails list are kept to a minimum to give more attention to their dishes that are bursting with flavors. Try the following:
Lazy Lemons
Lemongrass infused bourbon, lemon juice, ginger and chili.
Thai Me Up
Vodka, lemon juice, basil leaves, apple.
Cucumber Frost
Gin, lemon juice with blended cucumber.
