Rue Bourbon is popular for their drinks menu ranging from plain beer to mixed drinks. This New Orleans-themed restaurant also has food menu ranging from bar grubs to full heavy meals. It’s a place easily filled up by yuppies around its area. It’s for the couple down for a beer at any hour with their different flavored beers and other drinks. It’s not for those who prefer to call it an early night.
9. BIG Guys! Pizza – President’s Ave.
BIG Guys! Pizza is a pizza delivery service offering the biggest boxes in town. Bringing orders from 10″ to 36″ pizzas, they serve classic toppings like Cheese, Pepperoni, All Meat, Super Supreme, and Hawaiian, plus you can mix and match. It’s for any big party of pizza lovers or anyone who can finish a 36″ pizza. It’s not for the small population of non-pizza fans. Insider tip: They also feature seasonal toppings with holidays, like their Kesong Puti Pizza during Independence Day and the like.
8. Mandarin Palace Seafood & Shabu-Shabu Restaurant – Aguirre Ave.
Mandarin Palace Seafood & Shabu-Shabu is BF Homes’ very own family-friendly Chinese restaurant. Serving authentic dishes of the cuisine like dim sum, Peking duck, and others, their best-sellers are their shrimp & pork siomai, salt & pepper crabs, and many more. It’s for big groups or families either celebrating an occasion or looking for a casual, homey dining experience. It’s not for groups that don’t enjoy Chinese food. We recommend their siomai, chicken feet, and other delicacies. Insider tip: Children especially enjoy the ambience as their seafood is on display in aquariums!

Witches Brew and Diner offers an Italian-American fusion cuisine. This is the first and only Harry Potter and Game of Thrones themed bistro serving a variety of food and drinks. It’s for people who are very much into these fantasy franchises. It’s not for people who are uninterested by fantasy themed establishments. We recommend their Severus Steak and House Lannister Pizza.
5. Sensei Sushi Bar – Aguirre Ave.
After his short stint with Robot Restaurant & Lounge, Chef Bruce Ricketts opened Sensei Sushi Bar, a humble local and seasonal Japanese and Asian-inspired restaurant along the now popular Aguirre Avenue in BF Homes. His 12-course Chef’s Omakase received numerous praises for taste, creativity and affordability. It’s for adventurous foodies. It’s not for people who don’t eat raw. We recommend the Chef’s Omakase. For a la carte, order their Torched Salmon Belly and Chutoro Sashimi. Our insider tip is there is no corkage fee, you can BYOB (bring your own bottle).

It’s for those who are only after the freshest ingredients and ideas in every bite. It’s not for those who aren’t willing to wait! We recommend their fresh tacos like Tripitas made with beef intestines & Guisada de Res made with beef shoulder & lengua. Our insider tip: Don’t forget to ask for their secret menu to see their guacamole dish and other tacos.

Mama Lou’s Italian Kitchen was one of the South‘s biggest neighborhood secrets, but because good restaurants can’t hide forever, it is now a dining destination for authentic Italian eats. It’s for families and children who enjoy eating in a homey setting. It’s not for people who don’t like to brave the Southern commute. We recommend the Risotto Tartufo Funghi, Truffle Mac and Cheese, Spaghetti Seafood Olio, and Pizza Tabarnes.
