Formerly Bikram Yoga Alabang, the fitness studio evolved (see what we did there?) to include other types of yoga such as Ashtanga and Vinyasa. Their Candle Light Flow class is 75 minutes of relaxing Vinyasa yoga in a room that’s dimly illuminated by candles with soft music playing in the background.

Treehouse Yoga is a wellness studio in the south that holds classes on various types of yoga, as well as art and meditation. The studio fosters a homey and relaxing vibe that definitely calms the mind and body. Their Hatha yoga class is a slow-paced sequence that’s a great introductory class to yoga as it incorporates the masculine active force and the feminine receptive energy to cleanse the body.

Beyond Yoga is a studio with very photogenic interiors. They have specialized classes like the Beyond Sculpt, which utilizes weights and is a combination of strength training and yoga. Aside from yoga classes, Beyond also offers Zumba and Anti-Gravity fitness sessions.

Bikram Yoga is the first yoga studio in the country to offer hot yoga. The Bikram type of yoga is held in a 40°C heated room and is a sequence of 26 different postures that target specific areas of the body. They also have Zumba classes, for those who want to get their groove on.

Surya Fitness and Yoga’s studio is spacious and illuminated beautifully by natural light. Situated on top of the Medicard Lifestyle Center, the place is a sanctuary with beautiful views. They offer a variety of classes for every kind of yoga enthusiast. Try their Power Flow class—it’s a similar to Vinyasa, but involves more powerful sequences.

5. Yoga Manila

Founded in 2006 by 13 individuals, Yoga Manila has grown to become a hub of the many different branches of yoga. Their yoga instructors have been practicing for more than 10 years and is certified at the 500-hour level. They have specialized classes for children with special needs that improves the child’s cognitive and motor skills, as well as classes for mothers and mothers-to-be called Pregnancy Yoga, which aims to boost fertility, maintain fitness during pregnancy, and recover and restore strength post-partum.

YogaHive likens itself to a bumblebee hive, where yogis can come inside their trendy modern studio to nourish themselves and feel like their part of a community. They offer Budoken Yoga, which is a unification of ancient martial arts and modern movements that develops strength, stamina, and mobility.

Yoga+ was founded by five friends who wanted to share their passion for yoga with others. Yoga+ offers more than 100 classes a week and provide mats, towels, and toiletries to their students for free. They are known for their Hot yoga classes which are held in 36 to 38°C infrared-heated rooms that help relax muscles for improved posture and flexibility.

White Space is a modern minimalist yoga haven founded by Eileen Tupaz and Abbey Rivadelo in 2012. They offer 45 classes a week on yoga, pilates, T’ai Chi, Kali, and meditation. Their Yoga for Specific Groups or Needs class aims to improve quality of life by helping individuals cope with their conditions and injuries.

1. Urban Ashram

Urban Ashram opened in 2015 with the philosophy that yoga should be accessible to everyone. They have classes for just about anyone—FNR (Flexibility Not Required) classes cater to folks who aren’t confident about their flexibility, SFGF (Stress-Free Gentle Flow) classes for students of advanced age, kids yoga, and more. Their studios follow the yogic principle of Ahimsa—the path of least harm—so they are constructed in the most environmentally-friendly way.
