Grape Escape is a wine lounge and kitchen and is the first of its kind in Maginhawa. They first made its appearance a year ago in the food park, StrEAT: Maginhawa. The owners wanted a more permanent place for people to socialize and enjoy wine so they opened this full-fledged restaurant in March 1. It’s a place for catching up with family and friends since there’s no wifi in the restaurant. It’s not for people who are on a strict diet. We recommend their salpicao, pork chop, polpette and blueberry tiramisu. Our insider tip: The restaurant serves unlimited wine!

It’s for yuppies or barkadas looking to work or catch up over delicious, Instagram-worthy pastries in a cheerful ambience. It’s not for your boys night out. We recommend the Soft Matcha Bun, Salmon Bonito, and their famous Japanese cheesecake: the Kumori Hanjuku Cheese. The Frazzled Cook is a quirky restaurant put together with the mission of serving good comfort food in a cozy, homey ambiance. ‘Frazzled’, which means completely exhausted, says nothing of the food, but the passion and hard work put in to every dish they serve.
